cracked-pot

Long time ago in a distant land, there was a farmer and he purchased 2 water bottles. But unfortunately, he came across the fact that one of them had a big hole in its bottom.

The farmer used those bottles effectively to put water and brought them to his own town. But the broken bottle leaked continuously and that made him feel that it is worthless. And the other bottle which was very proud of itself, used to tease the leaking bottle every time when it spilled water.

One day, the leaking bottle couldn’t stand it anymore and asked the farmer to throw it away. However the farmer smiled, and said “Did you see the road in our town recently?” They went back down to the road and there were many beautiful flowers out there. “Did you notice that there were flowers only on your side of your path, but not on the other side of the road?

That’s because I have always been aware about your flaw, and I took advantage of it. I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day when we used to walk back from the stream, you would water them. The water that you have spilled so far has grown these plants.”

Moral: Each of us is full of errors. We can compare ourselves to any cracked pot. Nothing is perfect in this world. The only difference between individuals if any , is of the mindset. Some siple get urned down by those flaws and give up in life. But, some are optimistic and even see those flaws as blessings in disguise and find out ways to serve others using those flaws. So, just cheer up! Every cloud has a silver lining.
